Fifty-five acres make up The North Shore Resort at Lake Oconee, GA. The resort was developed with a "railroad" theme and 23 railroad cars were brought in and used as offices, in recreational areas, as shops, and as overnight accommodations. Club cars, cabooses, and boxcars were used in the design scheme giving the resort a truly unique flavor. The railroad cars exist today and are just one of the amenities that makes The North Shore Resort at Lake Oconee a premier OCP destination in the Southeast.
